25 Quick Easy Uncommon Dessert Recipes edition by Stacey Ray Cookbooks Food Wine eBooks
This is a 'rotating' book of recipes, 25 exactly (as the title states) of TRULY UNCOMMON desserts. There are things like "Balsamic Strawberry Parfaits with Mint", "Caramel Apple Cookies" and "Citrus Icebox Bars" that even a cookie hater like my DH says they are to die for! There IS a table of contents that brings you directly to each and every recipe, but when just hitting the forward screen on you device, the recipes come to an end and start back over from the first again! Nice effect for a kindle book. Usually having to tap several things to get back to the beginning. BTW, not one link is incorrect! For me these recipes are so uncommon, but not too far fetched, that I plan to try each recipe at least once. There are a couple, like Watermelon Mojito Popsicles and Peach-Ginger Au-Gratin that cause me to pause, but even my finicky tastebuds are game to try them.Ingredients are clear and should be easy to find in any local grocery store. Instructions are numbered and easy to follow. I would have given this book the full 5 stars had it included pictures of the finished recipes. The way they look in the end is entirely up to me.
